Why do TeamxPack focus on “Recyclable &100% compostable”packaging?|A list of policies related to the global “plastic ban”

- 1. Within ten years, European governments will ban nylon. Compost packaging bags have huge market potential.
- 2. Currently, about 50% of Italian households have adopted home composting facilities. In addition, the government strongly promotes industrial composting as part of its broader efforts to advance environmental sustainability and minimize waste.
- 3. The U.S. Secretary of the Interior has issued an order to curb the purchase, sale, and distribution of single-use plastic products and packaging. As a result, alternatives such as compostable or biodegradable materials will be promoted. This initiative is expected to significantly reduce the more than 14 million tons of plastic that enter the ocean each year.
- 4. Australia from 2025, 100% of packaging will be reusable, recyclable or compostable, and 70% of plastic packaging will be compostable after use.
- 5. South Africa pushes the “strictest” plastic ban for violators, up to 10 years in prison.
