Why do TeamxPack focus on “Recyclable & degradable &100% compostable”packaging？｜A list of policies related to the global “plastic ban”
- 1. The European Union issued a plastic ban in 2015. intending to consume no more than 90 plastic bags per person each year by the end of 2019.
- 2. For “plastic ban” in Europe, most countries take both approaches: one is to levy taxes and charges, and the other is to completely prohibit the use.
- 3. South Africa pushes the “strictest” plastic ban for violators, up to 10 years in prison.
- 4. Australia from 1 July 2019, Queensland and Western Australia stop providing single-use plastic bags to customers.
- 5. In South Korea, 11,000 supermarkets more than 165 square meters have completely banned single-use plastic bags, and violators will be fined up to 3 million won.
